The Prevention Alliance of Greater Prince William is bringing together local educators and experts to host a two-day, multi-lingual workshop to empower parents and provide them with information to safeguard their children during these challenging times.
On Dec. 8, from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., the Alliance will host a workshop titled, "Recognizing Signs of Mental Health Conditions and Substance Use in Youth."
On Dec. 10, from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., the Alliance will host a second workshop titled, "How to Start the Conversation and Build Open Relationships with Our Children."
Presenters and partners from the Virginia Cooperative Extension, NAMI Prince William, Hispanic Organization for Leadership and Action, PWC Community Services, the Drug Enforcement Agency, and Why Inc. will facilitate this two-night program. Each presenter will provide a virtual resource walk-through to help parents find the information and resources they need.
