Get Free Research and Information Support from MAGIC at Prince William Public Libraries
MAGIC, the Management and Government Information Center located at the Chinn Park Library, is a free information and research service for Prince William County agencies and employees.
MAGIC's mission is to serve Prince William County employees and elected officials by providing information to make their job easier.
MAGIC is available to help uncover information for a committee/work project, a continuing education class, or simply to assist Prince William County employees in their job. Contact MAGIC staff, and they'll deliver results that are accurate, actionable, and within one's deadline.
MAGIC staff will research any topic, find journal articles and other data to answer questions, and give suggestions of sources and search strategies to use.
Specifically, Prince William County Agency and Employee can receive free Interlibrary loans on books and scholarly articles, free Access to specialized databases, training on library databases, and more. Employees receive the benefits of receiving personalized assistance, saving valuable time and money, connecting with other jurisdictions, and reducing information overload.
