It's Not Too Late to Start on a Summer Body

single news

Beach season is here, and it’s time for you to enjoy it! Do you need the perfect body to put on a swimsuit and enjoy the sun? Definitely not! Focus on your overall health and wellness as you take action to look and feel your best this summer.

When it comes to nutrition, take it one day at a time. It can be tempting to sign up for the latest cleanse or crash-diet, but you’re more likely to get lasting results by slowly incorporating healthier eating habits over time. Yes, you may want results by this weekend, but you’d be surprised what consistent healthy nutrition habits can do! Keep it simple and start small.

  • Drink plenty of water
  • Replace processed foods with fruit, vegetables, lean protein, and healthy carbs
  • Don’t skip breakfast

Upcoming vacation or not, it’s not too late to get active. Aim for 150 minutes a week of moderate physical activity with at least 2 days of strength training.  You can even double dip by getting your cardio while you lift.
