Nine Police Officers, Four Civilians Are Promoted

PRINCE WILLIAM COUNTY, VIRGINIA . . . The Police Department held a promotion ceremony on Friday, Aug. 2, 2019, honoring 13 employees who were recently promoted. The event took place in the Charlie T. Deane Central District Station, 5036 Davis Ford Rd. in Woodbridge (22192).

Sworn members of the Police Department were promoted to the ranks of lieutenant, first sergeant and sergeant. Civilian members of the Department were promoted to management information systems coordinator I, administrative support assistant II, animal control field supervisor, and police safety services technician.

Police Chief Barry M. Barnard recognized the promotions of the following personnel:

  • Lieutenant:  Astrid S. Robinson, Heather A. Vance
  • First Sergeant:  David S. Bliss
  • Sergeant:  Daniel A. Crane, Duane A. Kuykendall, Alexander D. McMillan, Caillen B. Smith, Nathan R. Thomas, Ashley R. Woodman
  • Management Information Systems Coordinator I:  Kevin J. Aswinanun
  • Administrative Support Assistant II:  Christina L. Dizon
  • Animal Control Field Supervisor:  Meagan P. Kidwell
  • Police Safety Services Technician:  Muhammad Iqbal
