The Police Department's Crime Prevention Unit, using intelligence from construction site thefts and vandalism, has developed methods for builders and developers to protect their job sites and their investments by practicing good crime-prevention techniques.

 

The booklet offers tips for contractors, tool and equipment protection methods, state and County ordinances on noise, trash and debris removal, and dumping & tracking on highways, as well as a Construction Site Security Survey that builders and developers can use to self-assess the security of their job sites.

 

The Builder Contact List which is designed to facilitate communication between builders and the Police Department.
