WE ARE NOW ACCEPTING RENTAL APPLICATIONS FOR APRIL - OCTOBER 2021.
The Prince William County Department of Parks, Recreation, and Tourism continues adapted operations as we move through the Commonwealth's phased approach to reopening. Trails, walking paths, open spaces, picnic shelters, playgrounds, and parking lots are currently open at all outdoor parks. Tennis, basketball, volleyball, and pickleball courts are open for play.
Gatherings of more than 50 are currently prohibited in our parks. Events, organized activities, and rentals within Prince William County's Parks or at Prince William County Department of Parks, Recreation, and Tourism facilities are postponed until further notice.

Located next to the Marine Corps Heritage Museum, and minutes from I-95, Locust Shade park offers much more than scenic beauty, tranquil water, and picturesque trails. The park is open year round from 7:00 a.m. to dusk.

There is also an eight-acre pond that is open year-round for fishing from park opening until 30 minutes prior to posted park closing time.
Jean C. Smith Amphitheater
The park is home to the Jean C. Smith Amphitheater, an outdoor performance venue that presents family entertainment
during the summer season. Programs run May through August, please
