Chinn Park Regional Library's SEED SAVING LIBRARY

Seed to Seed is  Chinn Park Regional Library’s new seed saving program created to encourage plant diversity, seed saving knowledge and to honor the seed saving tradition.  Through this program, heirloom, organic and non-hybrid seeds are available, for free, to anyone who wishes to participate.  It’s simple!  Become a member,  borrow seeds, watch them grow and at the end of the harvest, save a few seeds from your plants to return to the seed library.   All seeds were purchased from the Southern Exposure Seed Exchange in Mineral, Virginia.  Interested in trying to grow new varieties?  Come to Chinn Park and ask to see the seed collection in the old card catalog!
