The Administrative Services team in the Department of Fire and Rescue provides expert administrative, accounting and budget support to the Department of Fire and Rescue and volunteer fire and rescue departments.
Administrative Services is responsible for budgeting, bill payment, purchasing, research and development, records management, annual reporting, personnel training records, Insurance Service Office (ISO) rating, physical fitness compliance and communications.
Administrative Services provides a vital role in insuring that the fire and rescue departments are up-to-date with the technical advances of the modern fire services and homeland security issues. In addition performance measures, trends, and statistics are monitored to ensure all department services are delivered in an efficient and cost-effective manner.
