Youth and Family Mental Health and Substance Abuse Therapeutic and Prevention Services are provided by five New Horizons programs. Staff provide a range of mental health, substance use and co-occurring disorders therapeutic services as well as behavioral health wellness services to youth who are 18 or younger and their families. Staff assess the needs of youth and families for the least restrictive services.
New Horizons provides an array of outpatient treatment options - therapeutic services at the Juvenile Detention Center, case management funded by Family Assessment and Planning Teams (FAPT) or Medicaid, discharge planning from state psychiatric hospitalizations and residential facilities as well as behavioral health wellness services for at-risk youth.
