Intensive Adult Mental Health Services
The Mental Health Residential program is intended to promote successful community living, foster maximum independence, and prevent psychiatric hospitalizations and/or involvement with the criminal justice system . The program serves adults with serious mental illness, including adults with co-occurring disorders. Individuals enrolling in the program require support services to function independently in the community. These individuals may reside in their own or family apartments/homes, in apartments/houses provided by non-profit community partners, in townhouses owned or leased by the CS, or may be homeless and staying in shelters, cars, tents in the woods, etc.
Program for Assertive Community Treatment (PACT)
PACT services offer intensive community treatment to individuals who have serious mental illness or co-occurring substance use disorders many of whom are homeless. The goal is to engage the individual in services to improve their psychiatric stability, enhance recovery and quality of life, while preventing hospitalization, incarceration and homelessness. A team of professionals provide wraparound services that include: case management, assistance with housing and other basic needs, mental health therapy and supports, medication management, crisis intervention, and assistance with employment.
