On Thursday, July 16th,
at 10:00 a.m., the Prince William County Fire and Rescue System held its
graduation ceremony for Recruit Class 2020-1 at the Public Safety Training
Center in Nokesville. Battalion Chief James
Mirabile presided over the ceremony.
Class 2020-1 consisted of 17 Fire
and Rescue Technicians who successfully completed 28 weeks of rigorous academic
and physical training at the System’s Public Safety Training Center in
Nokesville, Virginia. Each student performed in excess of 1,176 hours of
training. The training consisted of 2 days of Orientation/Study Skills, 1 day
of Health/Nutrition, 26 weeks of Fitness, 8 weeks of Emergency Medical
Training, 12 weeks of Fire Training, and 4 weeks of Specialized Training.
