The Prince William County Board of Supervisors is scheduled to hold a public hearing at 2 p.m. on March 11, 2014, in the Board Chambers of the McCoart Administration Building to consider adopting changes to voting precinct boundaries, associated precinct polling places and precinct names.
Should the Board adopt the recommendations of the Prince William County Electoral Board, the changes would go into effect immediately and voters will receive notification of any changes by mail. Changes to precincts and polling places would change the location where some County residents vote, said Prince William County Registrar Douglas Geib.
“If they are going to experience a change, they’re going to receive a new voter registration card with the new information. If they don’t get a card, they just keep on going to their current polling place,” Geib said.
Maps and descriptions of the proposed precinct and polling place changes are available here.
