For ages 2–3 with a parent or guardian. Tuesdays at 10:30 & 11:00 a.m.

Hodgepodge

Book-based program that may include cooking, games, and crafts. For students entering 1st grade and older. Thursdays, 2:30 p.m. Registration is required and opensone week prior to program date. Only registrations in person will be accepted on the first day. Registrations by telephone will be accepted after the first day.

Battersby Duo: Books Alive!
A mixture of high-energy “bee” bop, dollops of doo-wop and buckets of laughter are the backdrop for this incredible concert. This award-winning duo has appeared at The
Kennedy Center, the White House, and Wolf Trap. They have also appeared on TV shows on PBS, CBS, ABC, and NBC.
They are the winners of 3 Parents’ Choice Awards and an Emmy.

Maryland Science Center…Behind the Science
The scientific method has been used for hundreds of years
to solve problems and investigate new ideas. In this show,
the students explore the scientific process to discover why
people do science and how it has been used to create
dynamic inventions.


Wednesday, August 12 at 10:30 a.m.
For students entering grades 1 and older.
Free tickets available beginning August 5.

Legos® Day
Duplo® blocks will be available for the younger crowd and
the smaller Legos® for the older students. Come make your own creation.
