Once a year the Library Foundation sponsors a Black Tie
Gala, with a guest author and book signing, artists
exhibits, haute couture fashion, model mannequins, dance
performances, local merchant store front exhibits,
musicians, raffles, silent auctions, dancing (live band), a
Casino, an open bar with wonderful wines and beverages, and
fine cuisine. For this one evening in April, the Chinn
Regional Library is transformed into a magical showplace for 300
guests to fun and frolic with their hosts the Library
Foundation Board. The affordable
tickets are tax deductible
and the proceeds are used to support the Prince William
Library System's special projects.
