Summer Quest & Wild Reads End Aug. 29th!
The last day to pick up prizes for participating in the Library's summer reading programs is this Friday, August 29th. Libraries close at 5:00 p.m. Reading logs for Wild Reads, our web-based middle and high school reading program, can still be printed through the month of September.
Labor Day Holiday Closings All libraries are closed Saturday, August 30 through Monday, September 1 in observance of the Labor Day holiday.

Watch as Capoeira DC demonstrates the basic acrobatic movements as players gracefully fly through the air attacking and defending against their opponents in this unique Brazilian martial art at the Chinn Park Regional Library on Saturday, September 13th at 2 p.m. as part of our Hispanic American Month celebration.  The Prince William Office of Voter Registration and Elections is preparing for a challenging season of informing citizens about voter registration. For November’s election, record turn-outs are expected. To reach the community, the Office of Voter Registration has enlisted the assistance of the Prince William Area League of Women Voters and the Prince William Public Library System.
On seven Saturdays from June through October, League volunteers will be available at Bull Run Regional Library, Central Community Library, Chinn Park Regional Library and Potomac Community Library to answer questions from citizens and to facilitate registration paperwork. League volunteers will be available at the four libraries from 11:00 AM. to 1:00 PM on these Saturdays: June 7, July 12, August 2 and 9, September 6 and 13, and finally, October 4. Citizens who have questions about voter registration are invited to visit the library and check with a League volunteer and, while there, check-out some books! |
