	Home Delivered Meals Volunteer Driver
	Department: Agency on Aging Location: County-Wide POC: Rosemari Walker Phone: 703-792-4156 Closing Date:  Open Until Filled
	Goal of Position: Deliver noontime meals to homebound seniors. Meals are delivered Mon-Fri only. Meals are not delivered on weekends, holidays or during inclement weather.
	Activities/ Responsibilities: Pick up meals in thermal bags from either Manassas or Woodbridge Senior Center. Deliver meals to homebound older persons on a pre-arranged schedule and pre-arranged route. Identify additional needs of meal recipients i.e. in-home service needs, health concerns, etc. and report needs to appropriate staff.
	Services Benefits:
	Timeframe (Work Schedule): One to two hours per day/once a week/twice a month/once a month.
	Qualifications sought: The ability to communicate with persons with different socio-economic backgounds. The ability to work independently, have own car, valid driver's license and current auto insurance. Be willing to commit to a set schedule and be punctual.
