Elections in Virginia are held on Tuesdays, and the polls are open from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m.  

2014 SPECIAL ELECTION: Special Election on Tuesday, December 23, 2014 to elect for the Prince William Board of County Supervisors, Brentsville Magisterial District.  Candidate filling deadline is Wednesday, October 22, 2014 at 5:00 p.m. in the PWC General Registrar's Office, 9250 Lee Avenue, Suite 1, Manassas, VA 20110.  Candidate list to be published, when certified. 

December 23, 2014 Special Election - Writ of Election. 

2014 GENERAL ELECTION: General Election on Tuesday, November 4, 2014 to elect for the federal offices of the United States Senator and House of Representatives. 

VA Constitutional Amendment HJ8:  real property tax exemption for spouses of military members killed in action:  Provides that the General Assembly may provide a real property tax exemption for the primary residence of surviving spouses of members of the military who are killed in action.  Such tax exemption may not be claimed by a surviving spouse who has remarried.
