Why we camp...

    Camping provides a fun exciting and educational experience in a safe setting

    Camping gives youth an opportunity for personal growth through bonding and teamwork experiences

    Camping helps youth develop self-esteem self-worth and communication and leadership skills through a variety of activities

    Camping provides opportunities for youth to learn to take responsibility for their own decisions and actions

    Camping provides new opportunities that are not readily accessible in a child's community

    4-H Junior Camp

    4-H Junior Camp is a five day, four night camp for youth ages 9-14 held at the Northern Virginia 4-H Educational Center in Front Royal, Virginia.
     
    Youth explore new interests, enjoy swimming and recreation and participate in evening activities and campfires. 
     

    Registration forms will be accepted along with payment for 4-H Junior Camp on Friday , May 4, 2012 on a first come first serve basis.  

     
     
    Cost for Junior Camp is  $225.00.

    4-H Fair Camp

    4-H Fair Camp is a day camp for youth ages 5-12, held during the week of the annual County Fair, at the Prince William County Fairgrounds. 
     
     
    Youth learn and grow in a safe and exciting environment through creating arts projects, exploring fair exhibits, and enjoying team games & activities.
     
    Applications for Counselor positions for youth ages 13-18 and registration forms for 4-H Fair Camp will be accepted on Friday, May 4, 2012 on a first come first serve basis.
     
    Cost for Fair Camp is $40.

Camper Registration-- Junior Camp Registration is now open.

Registration is walk in only at 4-H Office! There is no on-line registration.

Both camps are open to youth residing in Prince William County, Manassas City and Manassas Park.

No mailed or early registrations will be accepted.

Camping slots are filled on a first come, first served basis.

May register own family plus one additional family for camp.

Must bring Registration form, Health History Form, Code of Conduct Form and payment on registration day.
