We Can Help You
The Prince William Fatherhood Initiative is a program designed to help build and strengthen father-child relationships for biological fathers sharing a co-parenting relationship with mothers of their children. The program helps:
All fathers build increased contact with their children;
Service-men who have been apart from their children due to deployment;
Incarcerated or formerly incarcerated fathers rebuild strong bonds with their children; and
Non-custodial fathers providing financial support for their children.

Absentee fatherhood is on the rise. Over 24 million children – one in every three – live apart from their biological father. The absence of the father in a child’s life has profound negative impacts on both children and fathers. Kids who do not live with their fathers are more likely to struggle with poverty, health issues, behavioral challenges, and abuse than are children living with their married parents.
