Residential User Decal
Prince William County residents may now apply for a decal using this form for quicker entry when using the County Landfill, Balls Ford Road Compost Facility, the Saturday collection sites or the special services at these sites.
This decal is not available for commercial users.
Residents can also enter these sites by showing your driver’s license or the top portion of your personal property or real estate tax bill. |

To obtain a Solid Waste Disposal Decal
Visit Taxpayers Services and turn in the form at the James J. McCoart Administration Building, Sudley North Government Center or Dr. A.J. Ferlazzo Building Taxpayer Services counters.
E-mail your name address and vehicle license tag number to
Taxpayer_Services@pwcgov.org.
State that you are requesting a solid waste decal in the body of your message.
Complete and fax
this form to Taxpayer Services at 703-792-4673.
Return the completed

Please note:
- The decal is not transferable and may be revoked if used in violation of the Solid Waste system regulations including the requirement that the decal not be given to or shared with non-County residents. The decal does not relieve you of any fees that may be applicable. County staff reserves the right to ask for other identification.
- There is no charge for this decal and the decal does not expire. No more than 2 (two) decals per address will be issued.
- The decal must be permanently affixed to the inside of the vehicle windshield on the driver’s side at the bottom left corner (within 1” from the left edge and 3” from bottom). Loose or taped decals will not be accepted.
