Update: Saturday trash and recycling collection services held at the Evergreen Volunteer Fire Department and Rescue Squad station will continue through February 2016 due to the cooperation of the volunteer fire company. During this time the Solid Waste Division will continue to search for a more permanent site. Residents may continue to bring their trash and recycling to the Evergreen Fire Station through Saturday, February 27, 2016. The Solid Waste Division regrets any confusion this may have caused. Saturday Collection Locations
The County offers collection sites in rural areas for residents to dispose of their waste most Saturdays*.
Residents may drop off household waste and recyclables, no medical, household hazardous waste, bulky items or appliances will be accepted. Trash must be bagged and securely tied. Please remember to cover any loads of trash carried in a pickup truck to prevent littering along the roadways. For quick access, you may apply for Solid Waste Disposal

- Former Nokesville Elementary School, 12625 Fitzwater Drive, 7:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
- Evergreen Volunteer Fire Department and Rescue Squad, 3510 James Madison Highway, 7 a.m. to noon (available through February)
