NLG Meeting Schedule

2012 Neighborhood Leaders Group Meetings

The Neighborhood Leaders Group provides residents with tips, strategies and ideas to build better communities.  Meetings are open to the public and held monthly (except February and July when special programs are held) in the Development Services Building Conference Room 202 located at 5 County Complex Court in Woodbridge.

These sessions create opportunities for residents to build strong contacts and develop useable skills to improve their neighborhood.  Participants learn and gain new insight by networking with neighborhood association board members, HOA and COA participants and volunteer program leaders.

As a group, the participants decide the topics they want to discuss at the meetings and set the agenda.  Each session focuses on practical, relevant and timely topics.  Participants grapple with the issues each neighborhood faces in a complex and changing world.

Meetings begin at 6:30 p.m. with an optional social time for informal networking.  The formal meeting begins at 7 p.m. with most sessions lasting 60 to 90 minutes.  Participants are invited to continue networking and idea-sharing after the formal meeting.
