Lot Grading Inspection Fee and Procedure

Lot Grading Inspection Fee and Procedure

Effective July 1, 2012, the Department of Public Works will require all single family dwelling (SFD) building permits to post a $180.00 lot grading inspection fee at the Permits counter at time of building permit issuance.  This fee will cover the initial lot grading inspection only.

A re-inspection fee of $75.00 per lot will be required to be paid at the Permits counter prior to rescheduling rejected lot grading inspections regardless of the rejection reason.  A Lot Grading Checklist  has been developed to assist builders and developers with ensuring single family lots are ready for final lot grading inspection.
