Prince William County Public Safety Communications Receives APCO P33 Certification

Prince William County Public Safety Communications has met the minimum training standards for the Association of Public-Safety Communications Officials (APCO) International Project 33 Training Program Certification-2010 (P33 Certification) and has been awarded certification as of February 7, 2014.

Public safety agencies utilize P33 Certification as a formal mechanism to ensure their training programs meet with the APCO American National Standards (ANS). “P33 Certification plays a vital role in keeping agencies up-to-date with their procedures and training programs. Prince William County Public Safety Communications has shown dedication to their community and those they serve by becoming P33 Certified,” said APCO President Gigi Smith.
