INCIDENTS
​Fatal Crash Investigation – On August 8 at 3:58PM, investigators from the Crash Investigation Unit responded to the area of the Prince William Pkwy and Minnieville Rd in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate a pedestrian involved crash. The investigation revealed that the drivers of a 2010 Mitsubishi Galant sedan and a 1995 Ford F-Super Duty truck were traveling northbound on the Prince William Pkwy when a road rage incident occurred. Both vehicles continued to the above area where they stopped due to traffic. As the vehicles were stopped, the driver of the pickup truck, herein referred to as a pedestrian, exited the vehicle and began to approach the Galant. At that point, the driver of the Galant maneuvered into the left lanes. In the process, the pedestrian and a 2012 Honda Odyssey minivan were struck. As a result at that collision, the pedestrian was caught between both the sedan and the minivan. Investigators are still determining which vehicle struck the pedestrian. The driver of the Galant stopped in the immediate area of the crash and contacted police. The pedestrian died at the scene as a result of his injuries. Due to the nature of the death, detectives from the Violent Crimes Bureau are investigating the incident with the assistance of the Crash Investigation Unit. No other injuries were reported. Speed, alcohol, and drug use are not factors in the collision. At this time, no charges have been placed. The investigation continues.

The pedestrian [driver from the 1995 Ford F-Super Duty] was identified as Larry Dean WALKER, 53, of Woodbridge
 
The driver of the 2010 Mitsubishi Galant was identified as a 34-year-old man of Woodbridge
 
The driver of the 2012 Honda Odyssey [uninvolved in the initial road rage incident] was identified as a 68-year-old woman of Woodbridge
Armed Robbery – On August 9 at 2:46AM, officers responded to the 7-Eleven located at 12417 Cape Cod Ct in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a robbery. Employees of the store reported to police that an unknown man entered the business and approached them near the rear of the store. During the encounter, the man brandished a handgun and demanded money. The man took an undisclosed amount of money before fleeing on foot. No injuries were reported. A police K-9 searched for the suspect who was not located.

Black male, unknown age, 5'4"-5'"7, 125-145lbs with a small thin build and a medium complexion
Last seen wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, black face mask, light gray pants, gloves and black & white tennis shoes
ARRESTS
Malicious Wounding by Caustic Substance – On August 7 at 10:17PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 15000 block of Greenmount Dr in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a fight. The investigation revealed that three woman came to the residence to speak to a male occupant who was not home at the time. At one point, a verbal altercation ensued between the three woman and the victim, identified as a 28-year-old woman, who was a female occupant of the residence. During the encounter, two of the women, identified as the accused parties below, sprayed the victim in the face with pepper spray. Police were eventually contacted and detained all parties involved. Minor injuries were reported. Following the investigation, the two accused women, identified below, were arrested. The victim was also charged with assault for her involved in the altercation and was released on a court summons.

Constance Lalita SWAN, 36, of 19050 Fuller Heights Rd in Triangle
Both woman were charged with malicious wounding by caustic substance
