INCIDENTS​

Strong-Arm Robbery – On June 10 at 2:35PM, officers responded to the area of 17000 block of Jefferson Davis Hwy. in Dumfries (22026) to investigate a robbery. The victim, a 17-year-old male, reported to police he was riding his bike in the above area when three unknown men approached him. During the encounter, the victim was pushed off his bike, and the suspects took his money and Apple Air Pods. The suspects then fled on foot towards Chesapeake Dr. A police K-9 searched the area for the suspect who was not located. The victim was only able to describe the suspects as Hispanic males. The investigation continues.

Commercial Burglary – On June 10 at 10:37PM, officers responded to Croppers Towing & Tires located at 17735 Fraley Blvd. in Dumfries (22026) to investigate a burglary. The business owner reported to police that at approximately 10:25PM, an unknown individual entered the gated lot and began removing tires. The suspect was only described as a black male wearing dark clothing with a cover over his face driving a dark colored pickup truck. The suspect fled prior to officers arriving at the business. An employee responded and reported multiple tires were missing.
Attempted Residential Burglary – On June 9 at 8:09AM, officers responded to a residence located in the 4800 block of Kempair Dr. in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate an attempted burglary. The homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred sometime between 4:00PM on June 8 and 8:00AM on June 9. The investigation revealed that entry was attempted into the home through the window leading to a room in the basement which was found damaged. No entry was made into the residence and no items were reported missing.
ARRESTS

Malicious Wounding | Abduction | Gang Participation – On April 26 detectives with the Gang Unit began an investigation into an assault that occurred in Prince William County in September 2018. The investigation revealed that the victim, an adult female, was forced into the wooded area near the 10500 block of Lariat Ln. in Manassas (20109) on two different occasions by an acquaintance, identified as the accused, where she was then assaulted by members of the criminal street gang Mara Salvatrucha, commonly known as MS-13. The victim recently reported the incidents to police prompting the investigation. Following the investigation detectives obtained arrest warrants for the accused, identified as Santos Yubini Salmeron LOPEZ, and a second suspect, identified as Edgar Eduardo Juarez VILLATORO. On June 4, the accused was located in Alexandria and arrested.  Attempts to locate the second suspect have been unsuccessful.

Armed Robbery | Burglary to Commit Larceny – On June 8 at 11:13PM, officers responded to an apartment located in the 15400 block of Tyler Cl. In Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a burglary. Once on scene, officers located the victim, a 23-year-old man, suffering from minor injuries. The victim reported to police that he arrived at his residence and found an acquaintance, identified as the accused, inside of his home without permission. The accused was in the process of removing the victim's firearm when a struggle ensued. The encounter escalated and continued outside where a second man, unknown to the victim, engaged in the altercation. After the altercation, both suspects fled the area in a vehicle. The victim reported minor injuries. Prescription medication and the weapon were taken. Following the investigation detectives obtained arrest warrants for the accused, identified as James Ray GREEN Jr. On June 11, members of the U.S. Marshalls Fugitive Task Force located and arrested the accused in Howard County, MD.

Assault & Battery on a Law Enforcement Officer (LEO) – On June 10 at 4:02PM, officers responded to Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center located at 2300 Opitz Blvd. in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a disorderly. The investigation revealed that a woman, later identified as the accused, was acting disorderly in the hospital room. When officers attempted to detain her, she bit one of the officers on the arm. Officers were eventually able to detain the accused without further incident. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as Jolika LEWIS, was arrested.

Internet Crimes Against Children – On April 18, a Prince William County Police detective assigned to the Northern Virginia/DC Internet Crimes against Children Task Force concluded an investigation regarding an individual downloading suspected child pornography with the execution of a search warrant at a home located at 4246 Glendale Rd. in Woodbridge (22193). During the execution of the search warrant at the home, multiple images of suspected child pornography were located on an electronic device. Following the investigation, arrest warrants were obtained for the accused, identified as Derek Joseph ANDERSON. On May 29 the accused was located and arrested. The investigation continues.

Residential Burglary – On June 6, detectives with the Property Crimes Unit concluded an investigation into numerous burglaries that were reported to have occurred at the Fairmont Independent Living Facility located at 9852 Fairmont Ave. in Manassas (20109) between August 2018 and June 2019. The investigation revealed that during that timeframe an employee, identified as the accused, entered the living quarters of several residents and removed personal items. Over the course of the offenses, numerous items were taken. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as Amber Shonta FREEMAN, was arrested.

Charged with 4 counts of grand larceny and 2 counts of burglary
