This week Camp Mawavi is in the spotlight.  The Department of Parks and Recreation have a partnership with the Prince William Forest Park, a Division of the National Park Service that allows us to offer this unique summer camp.   Camp Mawavi is adventure at its fullest.  With the lineup of activities campers will never be bored.  Not only will nature and environmental activities be incorporated into daily plans, campers will also experience such things as kayaking, fishing, archery and cooking.  Let us do the driving - daily transportation is offered from both the Chinn Aquatics and Fitness Center and the Sharron Baucom Dale City Recreation Center, making it convenient for you and a daily excursion for your camper.  New this year – we are offering Mawavi Jr. for ages 5-8 – age appropriate activities in the same great environment for the younger camper.  For more information, check out page 20 of our Summer Camp Guide or contact Camp Manager, Jennifer Jeffcoat at jjeffcoat@pwcgov.org
