Silver Lake Regional Park
Camps at Silver Lake Park

Silver Lake Regional Park is a passive recreation park located at the foot of Bull Run Mountain. 
The park has 230 acres of meadows and pine forests with good trails throughout. The 23-acre lake,
fed by Little Bull Run Stream, has a healthy stock of native fish, waterfowl and wildlife.

The Silver Trading Post (REGISTER)

Ages 6 -14

Jump into summer with our popular OUTDOOR ADVENTURE SUMMER CAMP. This adventure camp provides campers with outdoor experiences in hiking, fishing, archery, and boating while also participating in traditional camp activities such as arts and crafts and games. Learn survival skills and take amazing field trips that coincide with the theme of the week. Daily camp activities are conducted outdoors as well as in our air-conditioned camp building. (Camp is held each day from 7a-6p with structured activity scheduled from 9a-5p.)​


Abrakadoodle  (REGISTER)

Ages 4 - 6

Abrakadoodle® brings art onsite to kids through a mobile art program. Kids will be inspired by creating art, sometimes getting messy, but always having a blast! The expansive art lesson plans are unrivaled for visual arts education. 


Archery Camp  (REGISTER)

Ages 9 - 14

Learn the proper way to handle and shoot a bow and arrow with National Archery Association certified staff.


Kayak and Fishing Camp  (REGISTER)

Ages 9 - 14

Learn the basics of kayaking and fishing, then we will take the boats out on Silver Lake and test your skills. 



Ages 6 - 8
(9 am - Noon)

Weekly themes will excite your child as we explore nature and learn about the incredible world around us. Filled with age-appropriate activities, trail hikes, creative games, and crafts to encourage their imagination and development skills. Campers will spend time outdoors and inside our air-conditioned activity center.

Lions, Tigers and Bears - weekly theme: Use your imagination as we discover the wonders of big animals. This class will dive deep into the wild with special focus on lions, tigers, bears and other large mammals. Learn about these extraordinary animals through stories, games, experiments and crafts.
