Silver Lake Regional Park is 230 acres of pristine beauty designated for passive recreation. 



  • Opens at sunrise, closes at sunset.
  • 23-acre lake fed by Little Bull Run Stream.
  • Bank fishing for bluegill and largemouth bass fish.
  • No motorized boat use permitted.
  • Four miles of multipurpose trails shared by equestrians and hikers.
  • Picnic areas with tables and permanent grills (personal grills not permitted).
  • Restroom facilities available.

There are no trash cans at Silver Lake.  Our "trash in, trash out” policy means that whatever you bring into the park, you are responsible for bringing back out with you.  Let’s keep our park clean and trash-free!

Change of Dates


If you have not tried archery before, this would be a fun class for you and your family. This short range class, in a forest setting will incorporate realistic 3D animals and also 2D picture targets for you to conquer. After your shoot, enjoy a picnic (hamburgers/hotdogs) with your family. This will be an informal shoot and will not be classed in VBA, IBO or ASA categories or distance.
