LOCUST SHADE PARK

Right off of Interstate-95 near the Quantico Marine Corps base in eastern Prince William County, Locust Shade is a charming neighborhood park and the perfect destination for a lazy summer’s day.  With batting cages, 18-hole miniature golf course, golf driving range, marina building with boat rentals on an 8-acre lake, playgrounds, tennis and volleyball courts, pavilion rentals, fitness and nature trails, horseshoe pits and our 400-seat outdoor amphitheater, we have enough to keep everyone busy!

Fishing
Fishing is available year-round from park opening until 30 minutes prior to posted park closing time.

The last scheduled trout stocking is March 7.  A FREE Kids (ages 5-13) fishing outing is scheduled for Saturday, March 8 at 9am at the marina; weather permitting.  This event is sponsored by the Department of Game and Inland Fisheries and the Bass Federation.
