Since 1970 Michael Shwedick has introduced the world of reptiles to children and adults! Michael will return to LSP with his Reptile World program. An amazing turtle, tropical lizard, American alligator and African crocodile will be included in the program as well as a fascinating group of snakes! Learn more about reptiles through the eyes and hands of Reptile World!

The Super-Marvelous Magic Show
Dean Alan the Magician presents The Super-Marvelous Magic Show. What could be better than super heroes and magic tricks?
Well this show combines both and has been an audience favorite for several years! Come dressed as your favorite Super Hero!!!!

The Jurassic Magic Show
Dean Alan the Magician presents The Jurassic Magic Show. Once again, Dean Alan returns with his very popular magic show about dinosaurs. New this year is the hatching baby dinosaur. Kids get to enjoy the magic while learning a little bit about our Jurassic friends!

The Magnificent Belly Dance (Free Show)
The Suburban Gypsies (all students at Magnificent Belly Dance) will be performing dances with veils, poi-veils, and perhaps swords in addition to 'no prop" dances. Music selections include traditional Middle East belly dance music as well as pop and techno. Following the beautiful energetic dancing of the troupe, hip scarves and veils will be available to audience members so they may join us in little instruction and dancing.

Carnegie The Steampunk Illusionist
Dean Alan the magicians alter-ego is known as Carnegie the Steampunk Illusionist. He comes from the 19th Century and he is bringing his show of Victorian marvels and steampunk-infused magic to delight people of the 21st century. It's like Houdini Meets H.G. Wells.  A MUST-SEE EVENT!

About the theater

Our 500 seat amphitheater presents family entertainment during the late spring and summer months.  The bench seating is protected by a colorful shade structure.  Additional seating is available on the gently sloping grass area.  Videotaping is not permitted at any time.

Picnics
Picnic-style foods and soft beverages are permitted in the amphitheater area.  Please note that alcoholic beverages are not allowed.

​Pricing

All performances are $4.50 for ages 2 yrs and up.  Children age 2 yrs and under are admitted FREE. Group rates are available for groups of 10 or more at a rate of $3.50 per attendee.
