Catharpin Creek

The Catharpin Creek Trail System is planned to connect Silver Lake Park, James Long Park, Conway Robinson State Park, and the Manassas National Battlefield with an equestrian friendly path along the Catharpin Creek. Currently the only existing segments of this trail system are the trails located within the above referenced parks. However, trail connections are currently being developed between Silver Lake and James Long Park and should be open for public use in the near future. Additionally, Prince William County has obtained a significant number of trail easements through various subdivisions in the area that will one day connect these natural and historical resources.
