Park Commission

​​​​​​THE COMMISSION 

​The Parks Commission acts as an advisory body to the Board of County Supervisors on issues pertaining to parks and recreation,
for the citizens of Prince William County.  The Commission is comprised of eight members,  appointed by the Board of County Supervisors, o​ne member to represent their respective district, plus one “At-Large” member appointed by the Chairman of the Board of County Supervisors.

MEETINGS

Commission meetings are held at 7:00 p.m., on the third Wednesday of every month in the Parks and Recreation administration building located at George Hellwig Memorial Park, 14420 Bristow Road, Manassas, VA 20112. 

All Park Commission meeting agendas, subcommittee meetings or notice of cancelation are posted at the Hellwig Administration Building and on this website.  For additional information, contact the Secretary to the Commission or (703) 792-4250.
