Diversity Planning

Welcome to Prince William County government's Equal Employment, Affirmative Action and Diversity Planning Division. The primary goal of EEO/AA is to support the County's values in doing the right thing every time by respecting diversity, accepting and celebrating individual differences, and valuing all employees.

Affirmative Action Program Plan

The Affirmative Action Program Plan (AAPP) establishes, maintains and institutionalizes a results-oriented program in Prince William County. The AAPP is designed to provide County managers and supervisors with reasonable, flexible and tailored approaches to remedy identified under representation of women and ethnic minorities, and to employ and advance persons with disabilities, older workers and Vietnam Era veterans. The AAPP is tailored to meet the specific needs of the County and is based upon consideration of those needs, the size and composition of the County workforce and the composition of the relevant labor pools of qualified women and ethnic minority potential employees.
