The Office of Executive Management incorporates the management and policy coordination activities of the County Executive, intergovernmental relations and communications.

 

The County Executive serves at the pleasure of the Board of County Supervisors, implements its policies, directs business and administrative procedures, and recommends department heads for appointment by the Board of County Supervisors. The County Executive acts as the County government's chief administrative officer and oversees the government on a day-to-day basis.
