USED BOOK DONATIONS

The Library System accepts donations of current books, audiobooks, music CDs and DVDs that are in good condition on behalf of the Friends of the Library. Funds raised by book sales are used by the Friends of the Library to support Library programs and special events for all ages. For more information visit our donating materials page.
 

AMAZON WISH LIST

Donate a new item to the Library System’s collection! You can view and select items from the Library System’s Wish List on Amazon. All donations directly benefit the Library System’s collection. Our current wish list contains items of interest to all ages, and has been updated to include stories for the littlest children about winter, craft projects, a cookbook full of new cookie recipes, a favorite movie, and much more.

You can donate money, a book, a audiobook, a music CD, a DVD, an eBooks, or other items in memory of or in honor of someone special. Just stop by your local library to inquire, or call Materials Management, 703-792-6100 for more information or assistance.

The Prince William Library Foundation was established in 1997 to allow community-minded citizens, organizations, and businesses to make endowments and contributions that support a wide range of Library services, activities and projects. The Library Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization existing solely to solicit and accept tax-deductible gifts. For more information about the Library Foundation, their mission, projects, and fundraising events, or to make a tax-deductible donation, please email foundationpwpls@gmail.com.

The Library System has four Friends groups that provide support to all of its libraries. The Friends enable branches and neighborhood libraries to offe​r many free cultural, recreational, and information programs to the community.  PURCHASE A COMMEMORATIVE BRICK

bricks.pngTo purchase your Commemorative Brick, complete the online form, print and mail it along with a check made payable to the Prince William Public Library System (or PWPLS). Please specify if it is a Gift Brick. A Gift Brick Certificate will be mailed to the recipient indicating it is a gift from you. All donations to the Prince William Public Library System are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law. Please consult your tax advisor regarding the tax deductibility of your donation. These bricks can be laid at our new patio at Potomac Community Library or one of our two new libraries Montclair or Haymarket/Gainesville Community libraries. BEQUESTS AND YEAR END GIFTS

A gift made to the Prince William Public Library System before December 31st may be used as a charitable donation and are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law. Please consult your tax advisor regarding the tax deductibility of your donation. Gifts made to the Prince William Public Library System comply with IRS regulations governing charitable donations.
