Recognizing that government funds are limited and the needs of the community are changing, including expanding and adding the world of electronic information, other funding sources are necessary to meet these needs. The Prince William Library Foundation was established in 1997 to allow community-minded citizens, organizations, and business, to make endowments and contributions through the Foundation's activities and projects. The Foundation is a 501 C (3), non-profit organization existing solely to solicit and accept tax-deductible gifts. It is governed by a 15-member Board of Directors composed of local community leaders. Foundation Board Meetings are held the second Monday of every month and are open to the public.

The Prince William Library Foundation Board of Directors announced today that they are the recipient of a $2,500 grant award from Transurban. "We are so excited to receive this award," said Bryanna Altman, P
