USED BOOK DONATIONS

The Prince William Public Library System accepts donations of current books, audiobooks, music CDs, and DVDs that are in good condition on behalf of the Friends of the Library. Funds raised by book sales are used by the Friends of the Library to support Library programs and special events for all ages. For more information visit our donating materials page.
 

AMAZON WISH LIST

Looking for a way to help your library? Check out the Library’s Amazon Wish List where you will see our small and curated list of most-needed items. You can even donate a book in honor or memory of someone, and special gift plates can be placed in the items you donate. Take a look today: the list has been updated with some TV tie-ins, fall holiday board books, and new popular fiction.

You can donate money, books, audiobooks, eBooks, music CDs, DVDs, or other items in memory of or in honor of someone special. Just stop by your local library to inquire, or call Materials Management, 703-792-6100 for more information or assistance.

The Prince William Library Foundation was established in 1998 to allow community-minded citizens, organizations, and businesses to make endowments and contributions that support a wide range of Library services, activities and projects. The Prince William Library Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization existing solely to solicit and accept tax-deductible gifts. For more information about the Prince William Library Foundation, their mission, projects, and fundraising events, or to make a tax-deductible donation, please send an email.

The Library System has six Friends groups that provide support to all of our libraries. The Friends enable branches and neighborhood libraries to offer many free cultural, recreational, and informational programs to the community.  PURCHASE A COMMEMORATIVE BRICK

bricks.pngTo purchase your Commemorative Brick, complete the online form, print, and mail it along with a check made payable to the Prince William Public Library System (or PWPLS). Please specify if it is a Gift Brick. A Gift Brick Certificate will be mailed to the recipient indicating it is a gift from you. All donations to the Prince William Public Library System are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law. Please consult your tax advisor regarding the tax deductibility of your donation. These bricks can be laid at Haymarket Gainesville Community Library, Montclair Community Library, or Potomac Community Library. BEQUESTS AND YEAR END GIFTS

A gift made to the Prince William Public Library System before December 31 may be used as a charitable donation and are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law. Please consult your tax advisor regarding the tax deductibility of your donation. Gifts made to the Prince William Public Library System comply with IRS regulations governing charitable donations.
