All October, bring in all your overdue items (books, DVDs, CDs, magazines, etc.) to your local branch and pay a discount on your fine.
Owe $50 or more in fines? Pay only $20 and clear your account.
If you owe between $20 - $49.99, pay $10.
If you owe between $10 - $19.99, pay $5.
If you owe less than $10, just bring in your overdue items and you won’t pay a fine.
The Fine Forgiveness program applies only to outstanding fines, not lost or damaged items.
All overdue items must have been returned to take advantage of this program. Returned your books previously, but didn’t pay the fine? You’re still eligible for the discount in October.
HEALTH MATTERS @ PWPLS

October is Health Literacy Month, a time to focus on your overall health and well-being, and get access to resources and information to help you do so. We provide a valuable asset to our users on their journey to a healthier self. Not only does the Library offer resources in both digital and print, we have also recently begun to offer health and wellness programs to our patrons. For more information.

What is Greater Prince William Reads?

Also known as GPW Reads, we are partnering with Manassas City Public Schools, Manassas Park City Schools, and the Prince William County Public Schools to bring you our first big community read, in which we all get together to read and experience the same books.

“Amazing Space” was chosen as this year’s theme based on the book Chasing Space by former NFL player and astronaut Leland Melvin. As a community, we’ll be reading Chasing Space. For the little ones, we’ve chosen Roda Ahmed’s Mae Among the Stars, a lovely picture book introduction to astronaut Mae Jemison.
