Each patron is assigned a number of tokens each month, which are used to check out books from the Freading library; each book lists how many tokens the patron must use to check that book out. Local Newspaper Index
The staff and volunteers of the Ruth E. Lloyd Information Center (RELIC), located at the Bull Run Regional Library, index articles of interest and obituaries that appear in various Prince William County newspapers. Most of the indexing 1993-2012 is taken from the (now defunct) News and Messenger and its predecessors, The Potomac News and The Manassas Journal Messenger. Prince William Today has been indexed since its inception in 2013. Selective articles of local interest are included from other local papers. Obituaries since 1970 are also being input. ProDemand.com offers simple navigation and a powerful search engine to easily find the repair information you need.
An online language-learning resource that offers courses in 80 different languages. The courses are interactive and include audio and visual aids, and have different options for travel, basic communication, and more advanced study. Patrons who speak a language other than English can learn in 50 different languages.
Using Pronunciator is easy, and getting started is easy as well:

- For first-time users, go to “Register”
- Enter your library card number. You may also enter your email address if you wish but this is not required.
- Click “Register”
- Registration is automatic—a second screen will open. This will contain your Student Name and Password, and an option to log in immediately. There will also be links to download Pronunciator to your mobile device if you choose. If you chose to enter your email address, you will also receive an email with this information. Pronunciator does not share your email address with other vendors.
- Once you are logged in, you can begin learning right away!
- You can change both your Student Name and your Password once you are registered and logged in. Go to “Logged In” at the top of the Pronunciator home page and access “My Account” underneath it.

The Virginia Law Portal brings together the legal publications that comprise "Virginia Law." The portal will replace the existing Code of Virginia, Administrative Code and Constitution applications on the current LIS website. The newly designed portal adds Compacts, Charters, Authorities, and Uncodified Acts to the law resources available for searching and navigating.
Users can search across or within these resources to find content based on keywords and phrases; subjects, agencies, and other selected meta data. Portal content is designed to be easily accessed by any mobile or deskbound device. Future development will make data available for download through FTP, web services, and user-defined reporting options. We also plan to display what actions are currently underway to amend the laws of Virginia
