Questions and Answers
Q. Why is the library offering Internet e mail notification?
A. Library users have requested this service as a convenience for users and to save postage.
Q. How does Internet e-mail notification work?
A. When a hold is ready for you to pick up, the library will send you an e-mail message. The message will list the title(s) being held, the library holding the material and how long the material will be held for you. In addition, if you have library materials more than twenty one (21) days overdue, a notice also will be sent via e-mail.
Q. Can all the members of my family receive their notices at the same e-mail address?
A. Yes, but privacy may be a concern. If family members share one e-mail address, then all persons with access to that mailbox will be able to view the notices sent to that e-mail address.
Q. What do I do if my e-mail address changes?
A. Notify the library of your new address when you visit or fill out the form available on this page.
