The Prince William Public Library subscribes to a number of business/industry databases.  Search Reference USA to find the number and kind of businesses in a particular geographic area.  Use the Business and Company Resource Center to find information  and articles about companies, industries and business.  Locate industry surveys and financial data at Standard & Poor’s NetAdvantage.  These are available for free 24/7 at the Electronic Resources page.  You will need a library card.   Library specialists are available to help with searching these or any other databases. US County Business Patterns is a publication of the US Census Bureau.  Here you’ll find data on establishments and employment size.
