Description of Workshops

Equal Employment Opportunity Policies conducted by the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission will provide training on preventing employment discrimination from occurring in the workplace.  This training allows employers to learn best practices and gain valuable knowledge to prepare for those tough HR decisions.

E-Verify conducted by U.S. Citizens and Immigration Services will provide training on current requirements for I-9 Form and E-Verify compliance.   E-Verify is the only free, fast, online service of its kind that verifies employee's data against millions of government records and provides results within as little as three to five seconds.

Mediation conducted by PWC Human Rights Commission will discuss the benefits of employers and employees mediating cases.  This workshop will also highlight the Human Rights Commission mediation services that are available to businesses in PWC.

Wage and Hour Compliance conducted by the U.S. Department of Labor will focus on providing employers with the tools they need to operate in compliance with the variety of labor laws enforced by the Division.  They will also provide resources intended to help employers and employees know their rights and responsibilities under the law.

Please REGISTER HERE so we can ensure sufficient seating and handouts for each session.
