 Homebuyer Education Seminar

 

​Tired of Renting?  Attend these Homebuyer Workshops and learn the roles and responsibilities of being a homebuyer; how to work with a Realtor, Mortgage Lender and Settlement Team.  Learn about FHA, VHDA Loan Programs, and available Downpayment & Closing Cost Assistance programs.  The presenters are local industry professionals and some are also members of the National Association of Hispanic Real Estate professionals (NAHREP).

Job seekers can attend a job fair preparation session on Saturday, April 11, 2015 from 9 a.m. to noon.  For more information, please visit our registration page.

 COMMENT PERIOD for Consolidated Plan

 
All citizens and interested parties of the Prince William Area are hereby notified that effective March 25, 2015, the draft 5-Year Plan is available for public review and comments.  Copies of the Plan are available for public viewing at regional libraries and County/City government centers.  To request a copy of the draft Consolidated Housing and Community Development Plan for Fiscal Years 2016-2020 and Annual Action Plan Fiscal Year 2016, call 703-792-7531 or visit our website at www.pwcgov.org/housing     
  
The Draft Plan documents housing and non-housing needs, outlines available resources and presents a one-year plan for using federal funds for fiscal year 2016.  According to the National Affordable Housing Act of 1990, as amended, communities which receive Federal housing funds must submit this multi-year plan to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) by May 15, 2015. 
 
Citizens and other interested parties are urged to attend the informational meetings and/or submit written comments, by no later than midnight, April 23, 2015.  Written comments should be directed to:
