Housing Board

As established by the Prince William Board of County Supervisors (BOCS), the Housing Board is responsible for overseeing the expenditure of funds for housing and community development and directing the management of the Office of Housing and Community Development (OHCD). The Housing Board is also responsible for developing policies for meeting community needs for affordable housing.
 
In order to carry out its purpose, the Housing Board shall have, at all times, a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with the BOCS. The Housing Board shall serve as the Public Housing Agency Board in accordance with requirements of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).
