DFR Holds Promotion and Awards Ceremony
On Thursday, July 26th, Prince William County Department of Fire & Rescue held its Promotion and Awards Ceremony at Forest Park High School.  Assistant Chief Hadden Culp (retired) presided over the ceremony.
The Department recognized twenty-six uniform members promoted to the ranks of Technician II, Lieutenant, Captain and Battalion Chief.

During the evening ceremony, Chief McGee introduced a new award from the Department -- the “Fire Instructor of the Year Award”.  This award was presented to Lieutenant Ed Rahl.  In his honor, future recipients of the award will receive the “Lieutenant Ed Rahl Award for Excellence in Fire Service Instruction”.
