In addition to police enforcement and compliance actions, the County relies on citizens to alert the Tax Administration Office of potential tax evaders. If you suspect that a vehicle owner is evading personal property tax, use this system to report this information to our Tax Compliance staff. You are not required to enter any personal information to use this system.

The Tax Administration Division has established a hot line number to assess and collect taxes from apparent tax evaders. To report vehicles that are normally parked in Prince William County, call the Hotline at 703-792-6787.
When calling, you will be asked for the license plate number and state; if you know the address where the vehicle is normally parked or garaged, include it. These calls may be made anonymously if you prefer.
