The GIS Division is responsible for creating and maintaining Prince William County’s spatial information. Find the map products to suit your needs with help from the experienced staff. Members of the GIS Application Solutions Team work to make GIS data more accessible for customers by developing and maintaining all GIS related desktop and web applications. The GIS Data Services Team works to develop and maintain the spatial data layers and creates GPINs (Grid Parcel Identification Number) in the County.  The Customer Support Services Team works to validate and assign addresses and reviews GIS-related items on land and building plans. The GIS Division also houses the county demographer, who is responsible for calculating quarterly population and housing estimates and making demographic data easily accessible to the general public.
