Aerial Photographs
The Prince William County GIS Office keeps an archive of aerial photographs for customer use. The 1937, 2004, 2006, 2008, 2009 and 2011 aerial photography are available using the online County Mapper XM application and may also be accessed through our interactive Aerial Viewer application. The years 1954 to 1997 are not available online. Customers are welcome to conduct research of imagery in this date range at the office at 5 County Complex Court, Suite 140, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday (Directions). We recommend that customers bring a digital camera as reproductions cannot be made of the maps.

The most current digital orthophotography that is available for sale is show above. Previous year’s photography (before 2009) is for reference only and not available for sale at this time. The following terms and prices apply:
- $40 per 10K tile (10,000 ft. x 10,000 ft. extent) available through the Digital Map Products ordering process.
- No customized extents are available.
- All images are provided in Mr.SID format only.
- Quantico Marine Corps Base has been omitted due to Homeland Security mandate.
