What’s For Lunch?

The Prince William Area Agency on Aging offers nutritious meals to older adults through two programs: Meals on Wheels and Lunch at the Senior Center. All meals are freshly prepared on site by our resident chefs and contain one-third your recommended daily intake. Menus are reviewed by certified dieticians and vary every day. We encourage those who can attend lunch at one of our senior centers to do so. Lunch is a great time to meet new people or visit with friends.

Meals on Wheels

Home Delivered Meals popularly known as "Meals on Wheels," are nutritious meals delivered to the homes of older persons who are homebound. Meals are prepared at the senior center and are delivered by volunteers. Meals are delivered Monday through Friday with emergency shelf stable meals provided in the event that hot meals cannot be delivered. A suggested minimum donation of $1.50 per meal is requested. To sign up for this program contact the Prince William Area Agency on Aging at 703-792-6374.

Lunch at the Senior Center

Lunch is provided Monday through Friday at both the Manassas and Woodbridge senior centers. These meals, part of the federally-funded congregate meal program, provide the opportunity for persons aged 60 and over to enjoy a fully balanced meal and socialize with other older adults in the community. A suggested donation of $1.50 per meal is accepted. Visit the Prince William Area Senior Centers page for directions and upcoming menus.
